Description

After a pickup from your Cairo hotel, head to Alexandria for a day of exploration. Go to Pompey's Pillar built in honor of the Roman emperor Diocletian between 298-302 AD. Then, drive to the Catacombs that reach deep underground with burial chambers cut into bedrocks. Have lunch at a neighborhood restaurant in Alexandria, followed by a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Qaitbay Citadel, a 14th-century fortress constructed on the location where the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria once stood. Finally, take a car back to your Cairo hotel. Note: Alexandria library is closed on Friday so you can visit the roman theater instead Note : For pick up / drop off form Cairo airport, Sphinx airport, New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, Helioplis, Badr City, Shorouk, Rehab, Obour, Sheraton Almatar, Sheikh Zayed city or Madinty City will be for additional cost
