Reviews
Really great, Restaurants & supermarkets nearby, metro isnt far and u can walk everywhere from here. Rooms are clean and the staff is nice. Recommendable Only downside is that the rooms are in the 9th/10th floor but they have an Elevator so u good
Staff like Awab, Ali and Yousef were so helpful, polite and chill with amazing personality. Very friendly atmosphere. Everything was great. I will miss you guys! Hope to see you one day again.
Pros: the biggest pro are the staff, both Yusef and Aly are amazing and the light of the place. They are always there to have a chat, help you out and give great recommendations. The dorms have curtains and each bed has its own shelf bag, individual light, plug sockets and lockers which were great! Towels on demand and you can leave your bags when you check out. Places to dry your clothes, balcony/terrace and a communal kitchen. Cons: The lift is a scary place which made you feel unsafe and the stairs are actually disgusting filled with cat poo and trash, I know this is commonplace in Cairo but nonetheless it was horrible. Cleaning is done once in the morning, which isn't enough for the amount of people housed and using the bathrooms etc. It could use an actual deep clean as you would find random trash everywhere and general smell of urine on the terrace. Generally it is not a social hostel, where the guests are very individual and WiFi wouldn't always give good service. Overall for the price, it is still well worth it, good rooms and good reception team. Great location but in a dodgy building.
Honestly, I can’t fault this hostel. I slept extremely well, the common spaces have beautiful views of Cairo and the receptionist on shift was super kind :). Don’t be perturbed by some of the reviews which are mainly about other guests behaviour (which surprise, is a variable in ANY hostel, anywhere in the world). Everybody was respectful during my stay. Incredible value for money, will be back - Adam
