Description
Day 1: Cairo to Bahariya Oasis and White Desert Tour
Begin with a hotel pickup in Cairo or Giza, then drive approximately four hours to Bahariya Oasis. Upon arrival, meet your tour guide and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Black Desert, known for its black volcanic hills and dolerite rock formations. Continue to the Bedouin Valley, where you can swim in sulfur-rich waters.
Next, explore Crystal Mountain in Agabat Valley to see quartz crystal deposits, followed by sandboarding in the desert dunes. Proceed to White Desert National Park to observe unique wind-sculpted rock formations in the Valley of the Tents. End the day with dinner at a desert campsite where you will stay overnight in tents.
Day 2: Bahariya Oasis Tour and Return to Cairo
After breakfast at the campsite, visit the English Mountain, a World War I historic site, then explore the sand dunes and salt lake of Bawiti. Have lunch in Bahariya Oasis before returning to Cairo or Giza.
