Such a cozy place to have a good lunch. The Egyptian food like Molokhia has a unique taste , the staff are nice and helpful.
Very nice place to eat on zamalek island in Cairo. Service was great and the manager spoke very good English and told me what to order when I wasn’t sure. The last 3 orange juices I’ve bought in Cairo have been horrible but this one was so nice I ordered another before I left. I was there on a Monday lunch time during Ramadan and I was the only person there. The bathroom could possibly do with a bit of attention but I only spent 30 seconds in there so it didn’t really affect my visit. The chicken usually comes with sauce but I asked for it without and it was very tasty. Total cost for chicken n chips and 2 fresh orange juices was 520 Egyptian so I gave him 600. There was music playing but it wasn’t loud.
The staff were very friendly and clearly very used to tourists. I visited at 4.00pm and even at that time had a good buzz , but still with a relaxed feel. The decor has a nice classic design. I had the mixed grill and samosas, both very flavorful and tasty. The mixed grill was particularly note worthy. The vegetables had a strong, maybe pickled flavor. Everything was well cooked and the garlic oil topped it off beautifully. I also had a pistachio milkshake and the Om Ali, both of which were phenomenal. The Om Ali was a new experience for me and I did not disappoint. Worth savoring every mouthful. Incoming sugar crash in about 30 mins!
The food is delicious and the service is great! Very friendly and professional staff! The Chicken Alfredo and the Orzo Soup are incredible options! The fresh fruit drinks are a must!
