Cairo Jazz Club stage showcases live music every night of the week. The line up changes daily allowing each night to acquire its own flavor:
SATURDAY L'ORIENTALE:
Oriental classics performed with hi-quality musicianship and a fresh spirit. Regulars to dominate the stage are up-beat ensemble Wust El Balad and Sa7ra, along with guest appearances on selected saturdays. (belly dancer not included!) show starts 9.30 pm.
JAZZ SUNDAY:
Our tribute to the jazz greats of old (and not so old!). Jazz classics performed by Cairo's best, with as many interpretations as there are bands. 'Jazz Sunday' is where you can see the likes of regular performers The RIFF Band and Latin Jazz headliners Cocoon.Show starts 9.30 pm.
SPECIAL MONDAY:
Mondays are reserved for some special events, visiting and debuting artists as well as our resident trend setting musicians and Djs.
FUNKY TUESDAY & THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE:
Diverse offerings of hi-energy styles & moods. From oriental jazz originals like Yehia Khalil to rock n roll covers by Crash Boom Bang and many of our more eccentric bands in between. show starts 9.30 pm.
BOOGIE WEDNESDAY:
If you dig the groove and like to boogie then put on your dancing shoes and prepare to shake the night away. From old school hits to funky modern bits, boogie night is for everyone.
ELECTRO FRIDAY:
Our tribute to the digital revolution. More and more artists are choosing electronica as the base of their music. This is your night to be uplifted.
