I had a very pleasant stay at Atum hotel and would happily recommend it. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable and taken care of. The rooms were spotless, and since the hotel is basically brand new, everything in the room felt fresh, modern, and in excellent condition. It’s clear that a lot of attention has been given to maintaining high standards throughout the property. A special shoutout to Shorouk, the manager, for building such a fantastic team. The staff are young, energetic, positive, and always ready to help with a smile. The atmosphere they create really enhances the overall experience. Also, if you need anything during your stay, Islam is your guy. He is incredibly resourceful, approachable, and always willing to assist however he can. Special thanks also to: Ahmed, Abdullah, Farrah, Abdulwahab, Mustafa, Ali thank you very much for everything! Overall, a wonderful experience with outstanding hospitality. I look forward to staying here again in the future. 🫶🏻

We stayed at the Atum Hotel for a week. We had the Shu room, right across from the reception. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking a small street. Breakfast was included in our booking — you could choose tea or coffee, and the breakfast itself was quite hearty, with fruit always available. The hotel staff were always ready to help when needed, and we would especially like to mention Farah, who made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. My birthday fell on the night of our checkout, but Farah organized a real celebration the day before. The room was festively decorated, and I was given a delicious cake and a 'Happy Birthday' headband. Thank you very much to this hotel and its staff for our wonderful vacation!

The hotel is very well located, 11 min.-walk from El Tahrir square, close to metro and it’s easy to catch an Uber from there. Cairo is a city that never sleeps. Therefore, ask for a room without the exterior view to the street. The room with a bathtub is very spacious, however, the windows have only single glazing and the noise from the street is unsupportable. Constant buzz of cars passing by, barking dogs and endless honking will effectively prevent you from sleeping until 4:00 am. Then, when you finally fall asleep, a muezzin will wake you up with his call for prayer at 5:10 am. The interior room (Geb) is a little more quiet. Breakfast is basic but varies a little every day. The owner runs Atum Café on the same floor as the Atum hotel. The café is open until 2:00 am, so if you don’t get woken up by cars honking, you will be surely woken up by the cafe guests or staff who are doing the dishes after closing of the cafe. It’s a mistake to run the cafe and the hotel on the same floor, especially if the cafe is open so long and there is no proper sound-proof separation between the cafe and the hotel rooms. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and stylishly renovated. The staff at the reception is very helpful. Islam and Farah went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and accommodate our needs, including late check-in.
