Your day begins with a hotel pick-up in Cairo or Giza and meeting your expert Egyptologist guide. Your first destination is Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built around 2600 BC by architect Imhotep. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the oldest known stone monument, marking the start of pyramid construction.
