Itinerary
Day 1: Upon your cruise arrival at Port Said, a Sun Pyramids Tours representative will meet you and transfer you to Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by a police convoy. In Cairo, visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerine, followed by the Great Sphinx. Explore the Valley Temple linked to the Pyramid of Chephren, then proceed to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, built around 2630 BC. Lunch is served at a local Cairo restaurant.
Day 2: After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Egyptian Museum, which houses a vast collection of artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Next, visit Salah el Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, designed by architect Yousif Boushnaq. Time permitting, explore Islamic Cairo and Khan El Khalili bazaar. Afterwards, return to Port Said port for your departure.
Note: Entrance tickets included cover access to the pyramid complex grounds but not inside the pyramids. Entry tickets to the interior can be purchased on site.
