Description

This two-day tour starts with a pickup from Port Said Port by Sun Pyramids Tours, transferring you to Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle with a rest stop if needed.

On Day 1, visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. See the Great Sphinx, featuring the head of a pharaoh and a lion’s body, dating to Chephren’s era. Explore the Valley Temple connected to the Pyramids of Chephren. Continue to the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before transfer to your hotel. Optionally, you can join a Nile dinner cruise or attend the Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo.

On Day 2, after breakfast at the hotel, travel by private vehicle to Alexandria with a guide. Visit the Catacombs from the early Roman period, discovered in 1900. See Qaitbay Citadel, located at Alexandria’s eastern harbor on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Tour the Alexandria Library interior, then enjoy lunch before returning to Alexandria Port for departure.

Note: Due to Eid al-Adha, the Alexandria Library will be closed from May 26 to May 29. During this time, visits will be replaced with the Romanian Theatre.
