Tour Description

On Day 1, you will be picked up from your Cairo hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle and transferred to the airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, your Egyptologist guide will lead you through the Karnak Temple complex, known for its vast Hypostyle Hall with colossal pillars built over two millennia.

After lunch at a quality restaurant, continue to Luxor Temple, constructed by Amenhotep III and Ramses II and dedicated to the god Amun. The tour then moves to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit three tombs carved into the desert rock and richly decorated with ancient artwork.

Next, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues located on the Nile’s west bank. The final stop of the day is the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahary, notable for its terraces blending with limestone cliffs. After the tour, check in at your hotel in Luxor.

On Day 2, pick up from your hotel leads to a trip 80 kilometers north to the Dendera Temple complex, dedicated to Hathor, goddess of joy and love. The tour also includes the Temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu on Luxor’s west bank, featuring significant reliefs from the Ramses period.

Following the visit, you will fly back to Cairo and be transferred to your hotel.
