This half-day private tour begins with hotel pickup and transfer to the Giza Pyramids complex. Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza: Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mykerinos).
The Pyramid of Khafre, the middle and second tallest pyramid, served as the tomb for Pharaoh Khafre who ruled circa 2558–2532 BC. It measures 215.5 meters (706 ft) at the base and rises to 136.4 meters (448 ft). Built from massive limestone blocks weighing over 2 tons each, it rests on bedrock 10 meters higher than Khufu’s pyramid, giving it a prominent appearance. Its slope angle is 53°13', steeper than Khufu’s 51°50'24'.
Next, visit the Valley Temple where priests performed the mummification of King Khafre. Here, see the Great Sphinx up close—a limestone statue with a lion’s body and the head of Khafre. This location offers excellent photo opportunities, with your guide assisting in capturing creative shots.
The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel.
