Description

Start with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and enjoy a comfortable ride to Alexandria, including refreshment stops. Your first stop is the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an underground burial site blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles, featuring the notable Masterpiece Tomb.

Next, pause for photos at Pompey’s Pillar, one of Alexandria’s iconic landmarks. Then explore the Greco-Roman Museum, which houses artifacts such as statues, pottery, and mosaics illustrating Alexandria’s ancient history.

Continue to the modern Library of Alexandria, home to eight million books and notable open courtyards with statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I. Note that the library is closed on Fridays and public holidays, and entry to the reading hall requires an additional ticket.

Visit the Roman excavation site featuring villas, amphitheater ruins, and the Great Tomb site, viewed from the outside. Then stroll through the Montazah Royal Palaces Gardens, former residence of King Farouk, and enjoy views of the palace and nearby beaches.
