Tour Description
Day 1: El Minya – Tuna El Gabal
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza for the approximately four-hour drive to El Minya. Upon arrival, visit key sites such as the plain where Akhenaton established his city. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Continue to Tuna El Gabal to explore the tomb of Petosiris, the Ibis catacombs, and the 2nd century AD tomb of Isadora, noted for her beauty in Hermopolis. Overnight stay in El Minya.
Day 2: Beni Hassan – Tel El Amarna – Cairo
Begin with a visit to Beni Hassan to see the tombs of Bakhet III, Khnumhotep, and Khety, governors from the 11th and 12th dynasties. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Tel El Amarna to tour the northern tombs, including those of Ahmose and Huya. Return to your hotel in Cairo in the evening.
