Description
Upon your arrival at Alexandria Port, you will be greeted by our agents with a sign displaying your name. You will then travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle on a scenic 3-hour drive to Cairo, with a rest stop available if needed.
In Cairo, explore the panoramic views of the Pyramids of Giza and see the Great Sphinx, a monumental statue with the head of a pharaoh and lion's body. Next, visit the Valley Temple, showcasing ancient architectural skill behind Chephren's pyramid complex.
Enjoy an authentic lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Sakkara, Egypt’s oldest ancient cemetery. Here you will visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the world’s first monumental stone building designed by Imhotep. You will also view one of the grand Mastabas belonging to Ptah Hotep, Idut, or Mereruca.
Before returning to Alexandria, stop at a Papyrus Institute to purchase souvenirs from Cairo and Egypt. Your guide will then escort you back to your cruise ship at Alexandria Port.
Note: Entrance ticket includes access to the pyramid area but not inside the pyramids. Entry inside a pyramid requires an additional ticket purchased on-site.
