Description

Meet your guide at the Visitors Center inside Al Azhar Park and set off on a 2.5-hour golf cart journey through one of Cairo's richest and least-visited historical corridors. Ride alongside the restored Ayyubid Wall and through Bab Zuwyila, one of the last surviving gates of the old Fatimid city. Continue through the Darb Al-Ahmar district past the Blue Mosque, Al Mardani Mosque, Khayer Bek Complex, and Madrasat Umm Al Sultan Sha'ban. The route winds through Qasabat Radwan, a centuries-old bazaar where artisan workshops still operate today. As the tour concludes back at Al Azhar Park, sit down to lunch with the Citadel of Saladin in view.
