Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo in the early morning and take you comfortably to Alexandria in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, allowing you to enjoy the scenic drive from Cairo to Egypt’s historic Mediterranean coast. This is a fully private and customizable experience. The sightseeing program is flexible and can be changed according to your interests, preferred pace, and available time. You can follow the suggested itinerary below or choose to visit other attractions in Alexandria based on your preferences. The suggested sightseeing includes the Qaitbay Citadel, a historic 15th-century fortress built on the site traditionally associated with the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Continue to the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Deka, an important archaeological site, and explore the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which combine Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural influences. Lunch Break: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, included in the tour. Bottled water and a soft drink are also provided during the tour. You may also customize your tour by adding or replacing sightseeing stops, such as Montaza Palace and its gardens, Stanley Bridge, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Alexandria Corniche, or other historical and cultural attractions according to your interests. Please note that sightseeing visits and entrance tickets are not included in the tour price. The entrance fees depend on the attractions you choose to visit and are paid directly by the customer at each location. The tour price includes private transportation, a professional private guide in the language selected when booking, lunch, bottled water, and a soft drink. At the end of your customized Alexandria experience, your private driver and guide will accompany you on the journey back to Cairo and drop you off at your hotel.
