Description
Your tour begins with a pickup from your Cairo or Giza accommodation in an air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop is the Giza Plateau, where you will see the Great Pyramids and learn about their architecture and Egyptian culture from your guide.
Next, enjoy a 30-minute camel ride across the desert to the Great Sphinx of Giza, a historic landmark. Afterward, you may opt to have a local lunch at an additional cost.
Following lunch, visit the Citadel of Cairo, a medieval Islamic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its museums, mosques, and panoramic city views. Then continue to Old Cairo to visit ancient religious sites including the Coptic Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of Abu Serga, and the Hanging Church.
The tour concludes at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest marketplaces in the Middle East. Wander its alleys to find handcrafted jewelry, decorations, and souvenirs before returning to your hotel.
