Your tour begins with a 9:00 AM hotel pickup by Sun Pyramids Tours to visit Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo. This area is one of the key sites associated with the Holy Family’s journey and holds strong spiritual significance.
Visit the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), built above the cave where the Holy Family is said to have taken shelter from the governor’s threat. The Fort of Babylon area is a pilgrimage site for Egyptians and Christians worldwide, reflecting deep devotion.
The tour includes visits to the Church of Abu Serga, St. Barbara Church, and the Hanging Church, known for its unique architecture. Then head to the Cave Church of St. Simon located in Moqattam Mountain, notable for its seven cave churches and the largest amphitheater accommodating 20,000 people.
After the historic visits, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile River. Choose to experience the river at night with Cairo’s city views or during the day to enjoy the sunrise and warm sun. Birthday party arrangements while sailing can also be made upon request.
