Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo
Arrival at Cairo Airport, meet your representative, and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Pyramids and Egyptian Museum Tour
After breakfast, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities with its 5,000 years of art collection. Continue to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, including the Sphinx and Valley Temples.
Day 3: Cairo to Aswan and Nile Cruise
Transfer to Cairo domestic airport for a flight to Aswan. Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, then transfer to the cruise embarkation point. Lunch onboard and overnight on the cruise.
Day 4: Nile Cruise
Breakfast onboard, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, then sail to Edfu. Dinner and Galabya party onboard. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 5: Nile Cruise to Luxor
Breakfast onboard, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, then sail to Luxor.
Day 6: Luxor and Return to Cairo
Breakfast onboard, disembark and cross to Luxor’s West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut. See the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor airport for flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 7: Day Trip to Alexandria
Tour the Library of Alexandria (closed Fridays and public holidays), the Lighthouse site with the Citadel of Qaitbey, Abbo Elabbas Mosque, Naval Unknown Soldier Memorial, statue of Alexander the Great, and the Church of St. Mark. Optional lunch, followed by a drive along the Corniche, viewing Alexandria’s harbor and Stanley Bridge. Return to Cairo for overnight stay.
Day 8: Cairo Departure
Breakfast at the hotel before transfer to Cairo Airport.
