Description

Day 1: Cairo – Siwa
Depart early morning from Cairo in a private limousine to Siwa Oasis, the largest and most remote Egyptian oasis located 17 meters below sea level. The journey crosses the Western Desert, with a stop at the Alamein Military Museum, dedicated to World War II history. Continue to Marsa Matrouh for a lunch break at a local restaurant by the Mediterranean Sea, then proceed to Siwa Oasis. Overnight stay at a hotel in Siwa.

Day 2: Siwa Local Attractions
After breakfast, tour Shali Old Town, known for its unique architecture made of salt, mud, and plaster. Visit the Siwa Museum in a traditional Siwan house, displaying silver, jewelry, musical instruments, wedding costumes, baskets, and ceramics. Explore the Amoun Temple (Om Obayda) dating back to the 30th Dynasty and the Oracle Temple, where Alexander the Great sought guidance. Enjoy lunch at a local cafeteria beside Cleopatra Spring. In the afternoon, visit Bir Wahed, a hot and cold spring located 12 km southwest of Siwa at the edge of the Great Sand Sea. Watch the sunset from the sand dunes, then return to a Bedouin camp for dinner before heading back to the hotel.
