Itinerary

Day 1: White Desert and Bahariya Oasis

Depart early from Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. Upon arrival, switch to a jeep for a safari tour including the Black Village, El Hez Village, and a cold spring where lunch is served. Continue to the Crystal Mountain and Aqapat area before reaching the White Desert. Explore the Old White Desert (mushrooms and tents area) and the New White Desert’s limestone formations. Return to the oasis to meet the vehicle for the drive back to Cairo.

Day 2: El-Fayoum Tour

After hotel pickup in Cairo, travel about 95 km to El-Fayoum. Visit Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for 40-million-year-old whale fossils, located within Wadi El Rayan Protected Area. On the way, stop at Mudawara Mountain, then proceed to the Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, Egypt’s only waterfalls formed in 1970. Enjoy sandboarding in Fayoum before a late lunch at a quality local restaurant, followed by transfer back to Cairo.
