Description
Day 1: Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Old Cairo Tour
A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The tour continues to the Great Sphinx, dating from the time of Chephren, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple associated with Chephren's pyramid.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Egyptian Museum. The museum holds over 250,000 authentic artifacts, showcasing 5,000 years of Egyptian art and history at one of the world’s largest collections of Pharaonic antiquities.
In the afternoon, visit Coptic Cairo including the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2: Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur
At 8:00 AM, pickup from your hotel begins for a visit to the Step Pyramid of Zoser at Saqqara, the world’s oldest major stone structure built during the 3rd Dynasty for King Zoser.
Continue to Dahshur to enter the Red Pyramid, the oldest true pyramid, and view the Bent Pyramid, noted for its preservation. Afterward, visit Memphis, the first capital of Egypt founded by King Menes, where you will see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
