Itinerary
Day 1: Early morning pickup from your Cairo hotel at 3:00 AM for a domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at 6:00 AM, visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, followed by a tour of the Aswan High Dam, the world’s largest embankment dam completed in 1970.
At 10:30 AM, transfer by private bus to Abu Simbel Temple Complex. Explore the colossal temples built by Ramses II, carved from sandstone rock cliffs, and the nearby smaller temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Hathor. After the visit, transfer to your hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.
Day 2: After pickup from your Aswan hotel, transfer by car to Luxor to begin your West Bank tour. Visit the Valley of the Kings to see royal tombs from various dynasties and the mortuary Temple of Deir el-Bahari. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Amenophis III.
Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Then explore Luxor Temple, including its courtyard and statues of Ramses II. Continue to Karnak Temple, a complex built over many reigns, featuring the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with 134 columns, obelisks, the temple of Amon, granite scarabs, and the Sacred Lake. Afternoon tea is provided, followed by dinner and a belly dance show on board.
Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel.
