Went around 7pm, nice weather and atmosphere, but the shock came when we ordered drinks (beer), which was usually served with complimentary peanuts and chips only to find it was replaced with a meager disgraceful small serving of lupines (ترمس), when asking the waiter we were told peanuts and chips are not available anymore. Shame on you Marriott, when tourism is picking up you lower your service level to such a disgraceful level that’s unbecoming of Egyptian generosity. It was only when we spoke to management that they offered complimentary vegetables, olives & a cheese dip. The overall 3-star rating is mainly for the atmosphere

The moment you step inside, the noise of the city dissolves into a world of greenery, fountains, and soft lighting. The café’s charm lies in its blend of luxury and ease: wrought‑iron furniture, lantern‑lit pathways, and towering trees that create a natural canopy. The menu spans international café classics — pastries, sandwiches, mezze, grills, and excellent coffee — all served with polished hotel service. Evenings are especially magical: warm lights, gentle music, and a cosmopolitan crowd create an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and refined. It’s a perfect place for long conversations, quiet reading, or simply enjoying the garden’s timeless serenity.
Nice cafe within the Marriott hotel, nice vibes especially in the evening, with good variety of drinks. The prices are expectedly high in comparison with other options in the city, the drinks were nothing special, the crème brûlée was good, the atmosphere was lovely, and they offer music show in the evening. The service was a bit lacking and not great, but overall a decent experience.
It’s hard to find an empty table. We came in the evening, we drank hot chocolate it was made the traditional way, old is gold, the way our mum used to do when we were kids :’) For the Black Forest cake its taste was light and the cherry sauce added to it!
