We had an unforgettable evening. Everything was organized with care, and the atmosphere made the last night of the trip ruly special. The view of the Pyramids is amazing! A special mention to Hany, who personally received us and ensured we had a fantastic night with the services. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!
I think this is good restaurant and encourage everyone to try it out! Service from Wahba was amazing he was very friendly and attentive smiling always and happy to help and reccomend dishes The beef tajin was stand out dish for me super tender big chunks of beef! I tried the camel meatballs also they was ok but not so much flavour ,actually just a personal taste. The rocca salad is good! fresh juices also super tasty try the watermelon w/ mint. Sit outside on the terrace for a cool view overlooking the city
We had breakfast at this place in the center of the Islamic district. I’d rate it as average, especially considering that it feels quite overpriced by Egyptian standards. Unfortunately, we were surprised at the end to find additional service charges added to the bill, which didn’t feel very fair. The place may have some charm, with a nice view of Old Cairo, but it also felt a bit dusty and not very well maintained. The breakfast itself was decent—products were of okay quality, but nothing special. For example, the fruit served with the yogurt was just apple, which was a bit disappointing. We also had to ask for juices even though they were listed on the menu. Overall, I expected a much better experience.
I brought up that I was allergic to walnuts to the staff. What do they bring to the table 2 minutes later as free entry snacks ? A sauce made with walnuts. No words. The worse it they warned me that I couldn’t eat that sauce. Don’t bring to the table anything that the client is deadly allergic to. Easy as that… The service wasn’t the best for the price. They don’t get rid of the useless plates for you so you need to organise your table by yourself (fun!). They also brought my food 10min after my friend got hers. Camel meat balls were good. The roasted chicken roll was good but the fact that it’s in a small bowl made it harder to eat.
Amazing experience, food, and decor! Our waiter, Hossam selim was very nice. Although our caramelized duck dish was very dry and hard to chew, the duck feteer appetizers were to die for, and the lamb fattah was so tender and flavourful. I also think they forgot to bring us our yoghurt salad that comes with the Fattah, but overall a positive experience.
