We dined in the Riviera restaurant during our stay at the Four Seasons and thought it was outstanding. We both thought that the restaurant was not just authentic but the quality of the food was better than when eating in many high-end local restaurants in Italy. I particularly enjoyed the Carpaccio. The service (especially Romany) was fantastic and the restaurant offers a great view over the Nile. We will definetely be back.
Came here for dinner with wife Service was good but good for an italian was interesting. Some meh items were missing. Wine in Egypt has a 3000% import tax so $20 wine is $700. The local Egyptian wine are reasonably priced for what they are. I had the soup which was bland, had no bread with it and seemed to miss something. Wife had need carpaccio which again she felt uninspired. The lobster fettuccine was supposed to be a creamy bisque, but didn’t appear to have much of a creaminess to it. Wife had the mushroom risotto and again this lacked anything and was 3/5. Give it a go but as it stands needs some important refinement in the menu.
