Visited Gogi Asian Restaurant in Maadi recently and had a nice overall experience. The food was good, though not the best Asian food I’ve had. The standout dish was definitely the beef noodles—full of flavor and easily the highlight of the meal. Just be aware that they are quite spicy, so they might not be for everyone. The spring rolls were amazing: crispy, fresh, and very well prepared. On the other hand, the shrimp dish was a bit disappointing, and the steamed dumplings didn’t really stand out either. One downside was that the air conditioning was broken during our visit, which made the atmosphere less comfortable than it could have been. Despite that, the restaurant has a nice vibe, the service was pleasant, and overall it was an enjoyable experience. I’d happily come back, especially for the beef noodles and spring rolls.
What a great, authentic place! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is excellent, and a special thanks to Mohammed Hamdy for taking such good care of us. The food was delicious and truly had an authentic Asian flavor. A wonderful dining experience overall.
This place passed every test❤️❤️❤️ We ordered vegetable kimbap, bulgogi beef, chicken with garlic sauce, and vegan japchae. The kimbap was good, but the vegan japchae was the star for me, I’m actually obsessed.. tohfa 😭 Everything came hot, fresh, and felt really authentic tbh I’m not a big meat fan, but my friends LOVED the bulgogi beef. The chicken was also really good and tastyyyy.. lastly and most importantly; the staff were all so sweet, and special shoutout to one of the girls there (forgot her name) cause she was so helpful and nice, she also gave us homemade kimchi for free to try and asked for our opinion on it👀
The food is amazing , hot and fresh. From the pot to your table. Service is beyond amazing and very friendly staff , variety of the menu is a plus. The place is small so there will be a waiting list within the busy days but its totally worth it. The dining area is small but i’d define it as cozy. Will revisit again
The food is incredibly good and full of flavors! Chicken garlic main dish was really great! and of course the bulgogi beef. The beef dumplings were so good too! the waitress was super friendly and took her time to explain every dish that was on the menu.. Very fast service too 👌🏻 and generous portions as well.
