I have sat here this evening with a view of the Giza Plateau and all 3 main Pyramids and it has been absolutely lovely. I had the Sambousa starter which was great and then the mixed dish with grilled chicken and beef. A positively pleasant evening and Sylvia was wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a lovely evening with fantastic views and great food.
We’ve been in Giza for a few days now but leave late tonight. For dinner, we wanted somewhere nice and somewhere close to our hotel that had a rooftop Pyramid view. We found all of that at 139 Pyramids Lounge. This lounge was absolutely amazing. From the hospitable, friendly service to the food and drinks, and of course the stunning view of the Pyramids at sunset, this lounge had it all. Our food was enjoyed amongst a delightful atmosphere. We highly recommend.
We visited this restaurant based on the really good (& many) Google reviews. It made a good impression at first: staff was friendly, we liked the atmosphere and the beautiful view. The food was okay taste wise, although less good than at most other places we had visited in Cairo and we were eating on plastic plates. Unfortunately though, one of the waitresses was really intense. She kind of kept following us, being over the top friendly, offering to take pictures, commenting on how much we will love the food, etc., which because really annoying. And eventually, we knew why: half way through our stay, we were handed a QR code and pushed to publish 5 star reviews - all of us individually. Then we knew how they got all of these super good ratings.. When we asked for the check a while later, she asked if we had already finished our Google review - for a moment, we thought they won’t let us leave without proof. Sadly, after eating there, 3 out of the 4 of us ended up with strong stomach problems, despite no problems in the days before in Cairo. So overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
The food was delicious, the hospitality was excellent, and there was a great variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Highly recommended! A must-try experience if you are staying here or nearby. Very affordable prices
It was on the rooftop which was great, you can sit outside and inside as well. Hospitality was great, people were friendly and took care of you as a guest. Really recommend. The food was great as well as cakes and mojitos. We waited 15 minutes for food which is good even thought the restaurant was quite full.
