The good was delicious and the atmosphere is excellent Mr Mohamed mohshin the manager treated us with the utmost white glove service I would recommend to everyone to try their food The seafood is fresh and you select and they cook it for you according to your wishes
Lovely fish restaurant on the bank of the Nile. Just behind the Sheraton where we were staying. Great fresh fish and shellfish. You choose what you want, how you want it cooked then it’s weighed. Served with hummus, great bread, salad and vegetables, rice plus water and lemon + mint juice and a caramel milk dessert. All in came to EP 1000 each (about £15). Great value
If you prefer to eat in a more local, non-touristic restaurant in Cairo, you should definitely try Asmak. You choose the type and amount of fresh seafood you want from the counter, they weigh it, cook it the way you like, and serve it. We chose fried calamari, grilled sea bass, and shrimp , all of them were fresh and really delicious.
