Amazing experience: I came for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of amenities and even more by the kindness and availability of the personnel. I recently completed a wonderful 2-night stay at The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes, and I cannot recommend this property highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The Warmest Welcome & Professional Staff The hospitality here is top-tier. Every single staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, welcoming, and seamless. Their level of professionalism and genuine care is exactly what you hope for in a luxury resort. You are made to feel valued from the very first minute. Beautiful Pool & Relaxing Ambience The pool area is spectacular—clean, beautifully designed, and the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. The surrounding greenery of the Katameya Dunes golf course adds a peaceful, exclusive resort vibe that makes you forget you are right next to the bustling city of Cairo. It truly feels like a quiet sanctuary. Exquisite Dining The food was another major highlight of my stay. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. Whether eating breakfast or dining later in the day, the culinary standards and the service in the restaurants were flawless. Final Verdict If you are looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway with impeccable service, delicious food, and a stunning pool atmosphere, this is the place to be. The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes continues to be my favorite hotel in Cairo and my first choice whenever I visit the city. I always stay here, and once again, it did not disappoint. From the moment you arrive, the level of service, comfort, and attention to detail is exceptional. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and consistently high standards that make every stay enjoyable and memorable. A sincere thank you to the entire Concierge Team for their professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help at all times. Their dedication is truly appreciated. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the entire Front Office team for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. A special thank you to Omer and Kareem, who always go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and valued. Their professionalism, positive attitude, and genuine care reflect the very best of Westin hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-designed. The housekeeping team was excellent throughout our stay: friendly, attentive, and consistently maintaining the rooms to a high standard. The buffet service was also very enjoyable, with a good variety and staff who were welcoming and professional. However, the reception experience was extremely disappointing (starting from check-in), especially with one staff member, Ziad, whose attitude was completely unjustified and highly unprofessional. I have no idea why these people are not smiling!!! We had booked more than FIVE ROOMS for an entire week for our wedding, with reservations made months in advance. Despite this, there was no cooperation or proper assistance when we requested to extend our stay. There was a clear lack of transparency regarding rates, charges, and booking availability, which made a very simple process unnecessarily stressful and complicated. Instead of receiving support, we were sent in circles while trying to arrange additional nights. Unfortunately, the situation was made worse by the manager, who was just as unprofessional, leaving us with no proper point of contact to resolve the issue.
