The atmosphere in this place is something else. The dim lighting, the wooden interior everywhere, and the background music literally take you back in time. This used to be my family’s favorite spot back in the early 2000s, and I wanted to come back and see if it still held up. It definitely did .The food is fantastic authentic Italian with a nice local Egyptian touch. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. I ordered pizza and a pasta with white sauce, and both were super delicious. It’s such a great experience overall, and I loved that they still give out those little mint candies with the check at the end
Tasty and nice atmosphere however the staff needs more training and smile... Also the stake is overcooked
Nice, tasty, and quick services felt a bit sketchy though didn't have any juices nor dishes still sugest if you like vintage and antique italian restaurants.
recently had lunch with my family at one of the oldest restaurants in Heliopolis. The last time I visited was about 15 years ago, so it was a nice experience to return after so long. We ordered two mushroom sauce steaks, one setaganof, and one classic pizza. Overall, the food was tasty, well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. The steaks and setaganof were especially enjoyable. The pizza was decent, though not the highlight of the meal. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with dim lighting, giving it a nostalgic charm. The retro decorations make you feel like you’re stepping back into an old classic place. The staff was okay — not the best service I’ve experienced, but acceptable. We paid around 2500 EGP in total. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but the quality and ambiance still make it worth a visit, especially for those who enjoy traditional restaurants with character.
