Great lunch! Ingredients were fresh, and portions were large. Tarek, our server, spoke great English and took great care of us. We had the baba ganoush, the kofta with the best cooked and most flavorful grilled vegetables I’ve had in recent memory, and a fattah with schwarma meat that was to die for. The fresh-baked bread was light, fluffy, and delicious! If I were staying in Cairo longer, I would definitely come back! We couldn’t eat everything. With the two bottles of water, bread, appetizer, 2 entrees, VAT and service charge, we paid E£1100 plus a tip for Tarek. Well worth it! Update: we passed back thru Cairo today and went back! Tarek was great, once again, and my husband smoked some shisha, courtesy of the shisha pharaoh, Mahmoud. The mint-lemon was very smooth and Mahmoud kept the hot coals coming! Price was fantastic! This time we had the yogurt salad, which is more of a cucumber yogurt sauce, a shawarma plate with more of the delicious grilled veggies, and the Alex Soujouk feter, a tasty filo-dough calzone-type dish stuffed with a savory sausage meat, veggies, and melty cheese!
Mohamed Zaki is very friendly and welcoming! Recommended us some dishes and they were all extremely delicious! Best Egyptian food in Cairo 🙏🏼 will definitely recommend
Carlos was attentive to our needs and very helpful. The food tastes great. The meats have not too much spices. Very friendly to our Asian tastebuds. Portions of the food are enough. Restaurant is at the second floor of the building. The entrance is on the side.
We had a wonderful experience at Zaza Cuisine. Everything was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of rich flavors. Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and enjoyable. A very special thanks and greeting to our waiter, Mohamed Salah, who made our visit even more memorable. He was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. His positive attitude and great service truly stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding food and exceptional service in Cairo.
It's a nice restaurant, I think we made mistake onordering the seafood, clearly that's bot their specialty and pasta taste like supermarket ones. Ever come again I would try their lamb, beef choices with rice. The waiters were nice though and soups are good.
