Tasty seafood with room for improvement on seasoning and service -The shrimp calamari rice was easily the highlight of the meal, tasty and very well seasoned. -red sauce casserole as well as the fried calamari was good but could use more seasonings on the fish itself not only the sauce or the breading of the calamari. -Seafood soup had a good amount of fish, shrimp and calamari but the broth had a strong flavor of artificial stock. I would like to also note that we had to remind the waiter to bring the fried calamari twice and it came after we finished the rest of our food.
Went there with high expectations and although the experience was great, some things were a little bit disappointing. The food quality there is great but not wow, there are more places that has better taste, however it was still good but definitely could be better. The only thing that really stood out was the butterfly shrimps, other than that, everything is just okay. Staff there is a little bit grim, but probably because there are a lot of hassle going on. Place is nice but definitely noisy, lots of people, lots of music, lots of noise. Also wait time for food was more than 30 minutes which is alot. My big issue is the prices, items are a little bit overpriced considering the size and the taste, things could definitely much better. Overall not too bad of an experience. You will go there and have good food, but definitely there are better places.

The food was not bad.However, the service was a bit uncomfortable. After we placed our order, the waiter asked if we knew some Chinese customers who had been there the previous day and hadn't paid. They wanted me to help get in touch with them! But this has nothing to do with us. We don't even know the people they were talking about！We can't help them.

Some dishes were not clearly described, which made ordering a bit confusing. • Service Speed: The restaurant was very busy, and it took quite a while to place our order. Even after ordering, the wait time for food was longer than expected, especially since we only ordered a few simple dishes. • Crowded Atmosphere: While the popularity of the place is understandable, the high level of activity made the dining experience feel rushed and less comfortable. Overall Impression Ibn Hamido is a solid choice if you’re looking for a wide range of seafood at reasonable prices. However, if you value quick service and a more relaxed dining experience, you might find it slightly disappointing. In short, a good experience, but not the best seafood restaurant I’ve tried.
