Description

On day one, you will be picked up from your hotel and begin the journey to Alexandria. Once there, visit the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.  Then, drive to visit the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria. You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar and stop for a photo stop.  After that, visit the Citadel of Quaitbay from inside and take outstanding photos inside and outside of it before heading to the library of Alexandria. Visit it’s open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first. There, visit the library's reading halls, president Saddat Museum, and the impressions of Alexandria Museum. On day two, be picked up from your hotel by your tour guide after breakfast. Then, travel to the biggest mosque in the city, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque(photo stop) before continuing to see the outside of Quaitbay castle which was built on the same site as the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the world.  The car will then take you to the gardens of Montaza. On the way you can quickly have a 2 minute stop by the King of Mango and drink at Alexandrian’s drive thru freshly squeezed juices plus have a photo stop at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria. The beautiful coastline and all the views of the city are en route to Montaza Palace and gardens which is approx 25 km away, including the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater. All of these will make for excellent photo opportunities, so don't forget your camera. On your way back, pass by the famous bridge of Stanley, the landmark of modern Alexandria before returning to Cairo with an A/C car.
