Description

Embark on a 5-day mostly private tour. Visit highlights including the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Karnak Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Temples of Abu Simbel, and the Qaitbay Citadel in Alexandria. Day 1: Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Travel to Luxor Start with pickup from your hotel in Cairo. Meet your Egyptologist guide who will take you on a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. From there, head to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which houses around 150,000 artifacts from the eras of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Aadmire the incredible treasures of the boy-king Tutankhamun and the examples of Ancient Egyptian art. Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, before a transfer to Cairo Airport to take the flight in the evening to Luxor. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in Luxor for the night. Day 2: Hot Air Balloon & Luxor West Bank & Temple of Karnak Rise early in the morning for a spectacular hot air balloon ride over Luxor, and take in the stunning views. After landing, head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings. Stroll around the complex and see the tombs and resting places of Egyptian kings such as Merneptah. Visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Stop by the Colossi of Memnon and see the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. Visit the Temple of Karnak on the East Bank of Luxor, before heading to the cruise ship for an overnight stay on the River Nile. Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples After breakfast on board, the guide will take you and a group of people on a horse-drawn carriage ride to Edfu. Enjoy a guided visit to the Temple of Horus. Enjoy with lunch and sail to your next destination Kom ombo. In the afternoon, visit Kom Ombo Temple. Your guide will take you with a group of people to learn about the temple . Return to the boat for dinner and free time. Day 4: Abu Simbel & Travel to Cairo Early in the morning, check out from your room, leave your bags in the reception, and visit the Abu Simbel temples with a group of people. Meet your guide at the temple and discover the twin temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. After finishing the visit you will be dropped off at Aswan Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in Cairo for the night. Day 5: Alexandria Tour Enjoy a full day of exploring the historic city of Alexandria. Travel by a modern, air-conditioned car to Alexandria, and upon your arrival, first explore Kom El-Deka . Continue to the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, Egypt, which is based on one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. Finally explore the Citadel of Qaitbay, Finally, head back to Cairo to finish your multiday adventure.
