The Mohamed Ali Mosque, one of Cairo's most stunning mosques, is also referred to as the Alabaster Mosque because alabaster stone was used to cover its outside walls. Visit El Sultan Hassan Mosque, also known as 'Madrasa El Sultan Hassan,' which was established by Sultan Hassan in 1356 A.D. It is the largest and most important mosque in Cairo. For instance, the mosque was intended to house educational facilities for each of the four Sunni schools of thought: Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanafi, and Hanbali. Next take a drive to Cairo's Al-Azhar Mosque, also referred to as the mosque of splendor. In 970, Fatimid Caliph Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah ordered its construction for the brand-new capital city. Typically, its name is supposed to refer to Fatimah, a respected figure in Islam who was given the title Az-Zahr. Fatimah is the daughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. the radiant or dazzling one. In Cairo, which has since earned the moniker 'the City of a Thousand Minarets,' it was the first mosque to be built. Then move to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques etc. Our tour guide will return you to your hotel in Cairo following the excursion.
