Description

Day 1 : Pyramids & The Egyptian Museum A representative will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of chefren. Then have your lunch at local restaurant and Move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was discovered. Back to hotel after your trip. Day2 : Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur At 08.00 AM visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King zoser. Then Proceed to Dahshur to get inside the Red Pyramid (the oldest true pyramid in history) and see the Bent Pyramid (the most preserved pyramid). After that transfer to Memphis city which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a centre of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. We can also arrange your birthday party while sailing across the Nile. Meals: Lunch at a local restaurant. Day4: Islamic Cairo Visit the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun. Explore the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan and one of the finest examples of early Mamluk architecture. Then, move to Bab Zuwayla through Street of Muezz to visit the Al Khayammeyah, Mosque-Mausoleum of Sultan al-Mu’ayyad Shaykh, Sabil-Kuttab of Tusun Pasha and the Mosque of Al-Azhar. Continue walking from the twin-towered Bab el-Fotouh, a fortified gate in Cairo’s old city walls, to Khan el-Khalili bazaar, one of the city’s major souks. Immerse yourself in the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelery and vegetables, all on a street that has hardly changed for centuries. Bargaining is expected, so prepare to negotiate. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the madrasa, and mausoleum of Sultan al-Mansur Qalawun and the Madrasa-Khanqah of Sultan Barquq. Your guide will show you the Museum of textiles and the mosque of Al-Aqmar, before seeing, the best example of an old Cairo house. Then transfer back to your hotel.
