The hibachi experience is close in comparison to that of any in NYC. The service experience was also great, thanks to server Rahman Ramadan.
The food was delicious and fresh, my daughter loved the hibachi show! Abdulrahman was an excellent waiter and overall we had a great experience!
We ordered crispy tempura roll and super volcan roll sushi, chicken nanban soba noodles and gyoza dumpling and everything was nice, especially the sushi plates. Recommended!
Authentic Japanese for Traditionalists, but missed the mark for us If you are looking for authentic Japanese sushi in Cairo, Sapporo is a unique find, though it might not be for everyone. We came here with high expectations, but ultimately left feeling a bit disappointed given the high price point and very “rich” taste. The Food: For the Purists This is not your typical "fusion" spot with mayo and fried crusts. The flavors are very traditional—which means the fish is the star of the show. * Warning: The taste is very "fish-forward." If you aren't a fan of strong, natural seafood flavors, you might struggle here. * Not Kid-Friendly: This isn't the place for children who love "American-style" sushi rolls. It’s strictly for sushi traditionalists who appreciate raw, simple ingredients. The Atmosphere & Vibe The decor is incredibly authentic and feels like a hidden spot in Tokyo. However, the dining room has no windows, which made the space feel a bit claustrophobic and dark for our taste. It lacked the "wow" factor we were hoping for in terms of ambiance. While we appreciate the dedication to Japanese tradition, the overall experience didn't quite justify the expensive bill. It’s a solid choice if you want a quiet, windowless, and very traditional meal, but for the price, we were hoping for a bit more "spark." Pros: Extremely authentic, traditional techniques. Cons: Very expensive, no natural light, niche flavor profile.
